Strzelecki statue in Jindabyne

Studio Strezii is based in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, Australia.

The name Strezii is created from a nickname form of Strzelecki, based on a common Australian pronunciation. Sir Paul Edmund de Strzelecki explored the Snowy Mountains and named the tallest mountain in Australia Mt Kosciuszko. In our local Jindabyne park there is a statue of Strzelecki which was donated by the Polish government. This statue was the inspiration for the Studio Strezii logo.

This website aims to support creative practitioners (art/craft/design) online and in our local area. If you are interested in creative practices then this website can provide you with information, links, events and handmade products. If you are a local you can get involved in our creative collective to promote your workshops or help develop local networks. This site is will grow, we have plans to: further develop virtual workshops to share skills, create an international online design research forum and provide visual design products and services.

2011:

  • Working towards collaborative projects between the creative practices and sciences

2010:

  • Supported the Monaro Fibre Crafters group. Studio Strezii set up a webpage for the group and photographed members products to display online. Studio Strezii also set up an online store at Etsy to help sell the group's handmade items and helped sell these products at our local Cooma markets.
  • Supported the Australian Professional Snowsport Instructors (APSI). Studio Strezii provided the APSI with design services to layout their newsletter and help with presentation designs and other visual design work.
